How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Stand behind the kettlebell, hinge to grip it with one hand, and tilt the handle toward you.
  2. 02Hike the bell high between the thighs while keeping the shoulders square and the spine long.
  3. 03Snap the hips forward to propel the kettlebell to about chest height, allowing the arm to act as a guide rather than a lifter.
  4. 04Let the free arm counterbalance naturally while the working shoulder stays packed and the trunk resists rotation.
  5. 05Allow the bell to fall into the next hinge, repeat with a crisp hip drive, and park it safely before switching arms.
