How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Place one hand on the medicine ball and the other on the floor, then extend the legs into a stable high-plank position.
  2. 02Brace the abdominals and glutes, keep the shoulders over the hands, and hold the hips square to the floor.
  3. 03Use the hand on the ball to roll it laterally across the floor toward the opposite hand without shifting your body.
  4. 04Transfer the supporting hand onto the ball as needed, then roll it back across while resisting trunk rotation.
  5. 05Continue alternating directions with small controlled rolls, stopping if the ball or plank position becomes unstable.
