How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Set up in a high plank with a dumbbell on the floor outside one hand and your feet wider than hip-width.
  2. 02Brace your abdominals and glutes so your shoulders and hips remain square to the floor.
  3. 03Reach the opposite hand beneath your torso, grasp the dumbbell, and drag it across to the other side.
  4. 04Place the working hand back beneath its shoulder and reestablish a stable plank.
  5. 05Pull the dumbbell back in the opposite direction without rocking your hips or shifting your feet.
