How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Anchor two band handles low in front of you and step back into a stable athletic stance with one handle in each hand.
  2. 02Soften the knees, hinge slightly at the hips, and keep the ribs stacked over the pelvis.
  3. 03Pull one elbow toward the same-side lower ribs while allowing only a small upper-trunk turn toward the pulling arm.
  4. 04Return that arm forward under control, re-square the trunk, and repeat the row with the opposite arm.
  5. 05Continue alternating sides without shrugging, rotating the pelvis, rounding the lower back, or letting the band snap forward.
