How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Stand with both feet on the middle of a resistance band and hold its ends securely at your shoulders so the band is taut.
  2. 02Keep your feet about hip-width apart, stand upright, and maintain straight but softly unlocked knees.
  3. 03Press through the balls of both feet to raise your heels as high as you can without rolling your ankles outward.
  4. 04Pause briefly at the top while keeping even pressure across the base of your toes.
  5. 05Lower your heels slowly to the floor, or through a controlled stretch if using a stable step, then repeat.
