How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Lie on your back with arms out for support and hold a stability ball between bent knees above the hips.
  2. 02Brace the abdomen, keep both shoulders grounded, and squeeze the ball lightly.
  3. 03Lower the knees together toward one side only as far as the opposite shoulder stays down.
  4. 04Use the obliques to return the legs to center without swinging.
  5. 05Alternate sides slowly while keeping the knee angle and ball position unchanged.
