How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Hold a cable attachment with an overhand grip and support your forearm on your thigh, a bench, or another stable surface.
  2. 02Place your wrist just beyond the support and allow it to flex slightly under a light resistance.
  3. 03Lift the back of your hand by extending the wrist while keeping your forearm and elbow completely still.
  4. 04Pause briefly at the top without forcing the joint or allowing your fingers to lose the handle.
  5. 05Lower your hand slowly through a comfortable range, complete the set, and then switch sides if working unilaterally.
