How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Begin in tall kneeling on a padded surface with one dumbbell at each shoulder in a neutral clean-rack grip.
  2. 02Brace your trunk and step one foot forward into a stable half-kneeling position.
  3. 03Drive through the whole front foot to stand without letting either dumbbell drift away from the shoulders.
  4. 04Reverse under control to the same half-kneeling position, then return the rear knee to the floor.
  5. 05Alternate the lead leg or complete equal repetitions on each side.
