How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Lie beside a foam roller or place it on a bench and rest the outer-front portion of one upper arm on it.
  2. 02Relax the shoulder and position the arm so pressure reaches the brachialis between the biceps and triceps.
  3. 03Roll slowly through a short path from below the deltoid toward the area above the elbow.
  4. 04Rotate the upper arm slightly to explore tight tissue, pausing only on pressure that remains tolerable and non-sharp.
  5. 05Avoid rolling directly over the elbow or nerves, then reposition and repeat on the opposite arm.
