How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Hold one kettlebell with both hands in front of the thighs and stand with the knees softly bent.
  2. 02Push the hips backward into a controlled hinge while keeping the kettlebell close and the spine long.
  3. 03Drive the hips forward to stand and allow the bell to rise from the momentum created by the lower body.
  4. 04Lead with the elbows to guide the kettlebell toward the lower chest, stopping at a comfortable shoulder height.
  5. 05Lower the bell with control, return to the hinge, and repeat without pulling primarily with the arms.
