How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Sit with one leg extended and keep the knee and hip facing upward.
  2. 02Hold the forefoot with both hands, keeping the shin still.
  3. 03Guide the ankle gently upward and outward into dorsiflexion and slight eversion.
  4. 04Stop at a mild stretch along the inner lower leg or arch, without pain behind the medial ankle.
  5. 05Hold while breathing, release slowly, and repeat on the other side.
