How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Anchor a light resistance band securely overhead and stand side-on beneath it.
  2. 02Hold the band with the arm raised out toward the anchor and keep a small fixed bend in the elbow.
  3. 03Brace the trunk and pull the arm down in an arc until it reaches the side of the body.
  4. 04Pause by contracting the lat without leaning, shrugging, or bending the elbow into a pulldown.
  5. 05Let the arm return overhead slowly, complete the set, and switch sides.
