How to perform it
Step-by-step instructions
- 01Attach a straight bar to a high cable and stand facing the stack with a shoulder-width overhand grip.
- 02Step back, hinge slightly forward, and begin with your arms nearly straight overhead.
- 03Pull the bar in an arc toward your thighs by driving your shoulders down and back.
- 04Keep only a soft elbow bend and avoid turning the movement into a triceps pushdown.
- 05Return the bar overhead slowly until your lats are stretched while your ribs remain controlled.
