How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Secure a resistance band around your waist and attach it to a stable anchor directly behind you.
  2. 02Step forward until the band is lightly tensioned and take an athletic stance with a small forward lean from the ankles.
  3. 03Run in place against the rearward pull, driving one knee while the opposite foot strikes beneath your hips.
  4. 04Alternate quickly without reaching the feet forward or allowing the band to pull you backward.
  5. 05Stop the interval when posture, foot placement, or rhythm changes, then walk back to reduce tension before exiting.
