How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Anchor a resistance band securely near floor height and fasten it around the ankle farthest from the anchor while standing beside a stable support.
  2. 02Shift your weight onto the supporting leg, stand tall, and keep your pelvis level.
  3. 03Move the working leg directly out to the side against the band without turning the toes outward or leaning your torso.
  4. 04Pause when the side of the hip is engaged while keeping the supporting knee soft.
  5. 05Return the working leg slowly, complete the repetitions, and turn around to train the other side.
