How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Place one foot fully on a low, stable platform and support the bar securely in a high-elbow front rack.
  2. 02Brace your trunk and step the other foot backward onto the ball of that foot.
  3. 03Bend both knees to lower through the increased range while keeping the elevated front foot planted.
  4. 04Keep your front knee aligned with its toes and your torso upright enough to maintain the front rack.
  5. 05Drive through the elevated front foot to return to standing, complete the prescribed repetitions, and then switch sides.
