How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Place your front foot fully on a low, stable platform, set the rear foot behind you, and support the bar securely in the front rack.
  2. 02Lift your elbows, brace your trunk, and keep your pelvis square in the split stance.
  3. 03Bend both knees to lower vertically through the increased range while keeping the elevated front foot planted.
  4. 04Keep your front knee aligned with its toes and maintain balance through the rear foot.
  5. 05Drive through the front foot to rise without changing your stance, then complete the prescribed repetitions before switching sides.
