How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Support the bar securely across the fronts of your shoulders, then place the top of your rear foot on a stable bench.
  2. 02Position your front foot far enough forward for a balanced stance, lift your elbows, brace your trunk, and keep your pelvis facing forward.
  3. 03Bend both knees to lower your rear knee toward the floor while keeping your front foot fully planted.
  4. 04Descend under control with your front knee aligned with its toes and your trunk stable enough to maintain the front rack.
  5. 05Drive through your front foot to rise, complete the prescribed repetitions, then switch sides.
