How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Set an incline bench at roughly 30 to 45 degrees facing a low pulley and attach a rope.
  2. 02Lie chest-down on the bench, plant the feet, and take one rope end in each hand with arms extended.
  3. 03Keep the chest on the pad and row the rope toward the lower chest by driving the elbows backward.
  4. 04Separate the rope ends slightly and squeeze the shoulder blades without shrugging or lifting the torso.
  5. 05Reach the arms toward the pulley under control while the chest remains supported.
