How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Stand centered between two low pulleys and cross the handles so the right hand holds the left cable and the left hand holds the right cable.
  2. 02Begin with the hands near the thighs, arms long with soft elbows, shoulders down, and trunk braced.
  3. 03Pull both crossed cables outward and upward toward shoulder height by moving the upper arms apart.
  4. 04Pause with the rear shoulders and upper back engaged without shrugging, leaning back, or bending the elbows into a curl.
  5. 05Lower the crossed handles slowly to the thighs under control.
