How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Stand tall with the working arm by the side, elbow straight, shoulder gently depressed, and palm facing backward.
  2. 02Flex the wrist and fingers, then rotate the arm inward so the thumb points behind you.
  3. 03Move the arm slightly away from and behind the body while keeping the shoulder relaxed.
  4. 04Tilt the head toward the working arm to reduce tension and away only to the point of a mild glide, not a sustained stretch.
  5. 05Alternate between the two positions smoothly and stop if symptoms become sharp, electrical, or linger afterward.
