How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Start in a high plank with your hands beneath your shoulders and your feet wider than hip-width for stability.
  2. 02Brace your abdomen and glutes, keeping your body in a straight line and your pelvis square to the floor.
  3. 03Without shifting or rotating your torso, lift one hand and the opposite foot a few inches from the floor.
  4. 04Pause briefly while balancing on the other hand and foot, keeping your hips level.
  5. 05Return both lifted limbs to the floor under control, then repeat with the opposite hand and foot.
