How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Start in a high plank with your hands beneath your shoulders and your feet wide enough to maintain balance.
  2. 02Brace your abdomen and glutes, keeping your body in a straight line and your pelvis square to the floor.
  3. 03Lift one hand and reach it forward toward the prescribed target without shifting or rotating your torso.
  4. 04Return that hand beneath your shoulder under control and reestablish even pressure through both hands.
  5. 05Repeat with the other arm and continue alternating while maintaining a stable plank.
