How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Stand with feet about shoulder width and rest a very light bar across the upper back, not on the neck.
  2. 02Brace the trunk, keep whole-foot pressure, and hold the pelvis facing forward.
  3. 03Rotate the ribs and upper torso slowly to one side without moving the hips or knees.
  4. 04Stop before the lower back twists, the bar shifts, or the stance loses pressure.
  5. 05Return through center and repeat to the other side with the same controlled range.
