How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Secure both sides of a resistance band evenly to a low point behind you and take a stable staggered stance.
  2. 02Begin with the hands beside the hips, palms forward, and elbows softly bent at a fixed angle.
  3. 03Sweep both arms forward, upward, and inward until the hands meet around upper-chest height.
  4. 04Squeeze the chest without shrugging, bending the elbows into a press, or flaring the ribs.
  5. 05Open the arms slowly along the same diagonal path and stop before the shoulders move into discomfort.
