How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Anchor a resistance band at chest height and stand sideways to it with your feet about shoulder-width apart.
  2. 02Hold the band with both hands in front of your chest, soften your knees, and brace your pelvis facing forward.
  3. 03Rotate your chest and ribs away from the anchor through your available upper-back range without turning your hips.
  4. 04Pause at the comfortable end range while breathing and keeping your spine tall.
  5. 05Return slowly, complete the repetitions, and turn around to train the opposite direction.
