How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Start in a kneeling plank with hands under or just outside the shoulders and a straight line from knees to head.
  2. 02Brace the ribs and hips, then lower the chest in a controlled kneeling push-up.
  3. 03Press through both hands to return to the top without sagging through the lower back.
  4. 04Shift onto one hand and draw the opposite elbow toward the ribs or hip in an unloaded row-like motion while limiting trunk rotation.
  5. 05Return the hand, repeat the push-up, and alternate the elbow draw for the prescribed repetitions.
