How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Set the axle over the midfoot, stand about hip-width, and take the prescribed secure grip on the thick bar.
  2. 02Hinge and bend the knees enough to reach the axle, brace the trunk, and build full-body tension before it leaves the floor.
  3. 03Drive the floor away and extend the knees and hips together while keeping the axle close.
  4. 04Stand tall with hips and knees extended without leaning backward or shrugging the load.
  5. 05Return the axle to the floor according to the training setup, then reset the grip and brace before the next pull.
