How to perform it
Step-by-step instructions
- 01Set a single handle on a low pulley and assume a staggered stance with the working-side foot forward.
- 02Hinge slightly, brace the forward thigh with the free hand if needed, and let the working shoulder reach toward the pulley.
- 03Initiate by drawing the shoulder blade back, then row the handle toward the same-side ribs or hip.
- 04Finish with the elbow close to your torso and chest opening slightly without overextending your lower back.
- 05Reach the arm forward under control, complete the repetitions, and then change sides.
