How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Start in a high plank with the hands beneath the shoulders and the feet close enough to challenge balance.
  2. 02Brace the trunk and shift pressure into one hand and the opposite foot.
  3. 03Lift the free arm forward and the opposite leg backward until both align with the torso.
  4. 04Hold without rotating or sagging through the hips, then return both limbs under control.
  5. 05Repeat on the opposite diagonal and stop when the supporting shoulder or trunk loses position.
