How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Face away from the sled, hold the straps or handles overhead, and straighten the elbows.
  2. 02Brace the trunk, keep the ribs stacked, and take up the slack before moving.
  3. 03Walk backward with short, deliberate steps while maintaining active shoulders overhead.
  4. 04Keep the arms vertical and resist arching the lower back as the sled follows.
  5. 05Continue for the assigned distance, then lower the handles only after the sled stops.
