How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Secure two band handles overhead and stand or kneel centered beneath the anchor with one handle in each hand.
  2. 02Reach both arms overhead, keep the ribs stacked, and set the shoulders away from the ears.
  3. 03Pull one elbow toward the outside of the same-side ribs while allowing only a small upper-trunk turn toward that arm.
  4. 04Return the handle overhead under control as the opposite arm begins the same pull.
  5. 05Continue alternating sides without leaning back, shrugging, rotating the pelvis, or allowing the band to snap upward.
