- 01Set the Smith bar across the upper back and stand tall with the feet under the hips.
- 02Step one foot backward and diagonally behind the standing leg.
- 03Lower the body under control while keeping the front foot planted and the pelvis facing forward.
- 04Stop at a depth that allows the front knee to remain aligned over the foot.
- 05Drive through the front leg to return to standing, then repeat before switching sides.
