How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Hold a medicine ball securely against your chest and stand with your feet about hip-width apart.
  2. 02Step one leg backward, place the ball of that foot on the floor, and begin lowering into a reverse lunge.
  3. 03Bend both knees while keeping your torso upright, the ball close to your body, and your front knee aligned with your toes.
  4. 04Drive through the front foot to return to standing without rotating your pelvis.
  5. 05Regain your balance, then step back with the other leg and continue alternating sides.
