How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Step one foot onto the center of a long resistance band, bring the ends securely across the upper back or shoulders, and stand upright.
  2. 02Keep the band anchored under that front foot and step the other leg backward onto the ball of the foot.
  3. 03Bend both knees to lower into a reverse lunge with the torso upright and the front knee aligned with its toes.
  4. 04Drive through the whole banded front foot to stand without twisting the pelvis or allowing the band to slip.
  5. 05Complete the prescribed repetitions, then anchor the band beneath the other foot and repeat.
