How to perform it

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 01Stand tall with your feet under your hips and brace your trunk.
  2. 02Step one leg diagonally backward across the standing leg and lower into a controlled curtsy lunge.
  3. 03Keep the front foot planted and its knee aligned with the toes while the pelvis remains mostly forward.
  4. 04Drive through the front foot to stand and bring the rear knee forward to hip height.
  5. 05Stabilize briefly, return the same leg to the cross-behind lunge, and complete the set before changing sides.
